Job Details Job Details: As an integral part of our dynamic team, we are seeking an experienced Head of Accounting who thrives in a fast-paced, complex environment. This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead and manage financial accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities. CFO will be a key player in implementing strategic financial plans and driving financial performance. Responsibilities: The CFO will be responsible for a range of financial duties including: 1. Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. 2. Managing the preparation of all financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and reports for government regulatory agencies. 3. Collaborating with the financial management team to develop budgets and financial forecasts. 4. Evaluating, implementing, and streamlining accounting systems and processes using Sage software. 5. Ensuring all accounting activities and internal audits comply with financial regulations. 6. Leading and executing M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and post-transaction support. 7. Advising on long-term business and financial planning. 8. Reviewing all formal finance, HR, and IT related procedures. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the CFO position should possess the following: 1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. An advanced degree or professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting role within the manufacturing industry. 3. Proficiency in Sage accounting software and advanced skills in MS Excel. 4. Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, and M&A activities. 5. A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. 6. Strong working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations. 7. Excellent organizational skills with an ability to prioritize important projects. 8. Strong leadership qualities with an ability to direct and supervise a team. 9. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
