Day-to-Day Responsibilities as the Commercial Collections
Specialist: Follow up on past-due accounts via phone and email
while building strong client relationships Research and resolve
account discrepancies using internal records and communication with
sales teams Manage credit limits, monitor payment plans, and track
account activity Keep accurate records of collection efforts and
send invoices/statements as needed Generate AR aging reports and
assist with monthly collections meetings Issue credit memos and
coordinate billing adjustments when required What You Bring as the
Commercial Collections Specialist: 2 years of experience in
B2B/commercial collections A track record of reducing aging
balances in a high-volume setting Solid Excel skills and a strong
grasp of AR reporting Excellent communication and follow-up skills
High attention to detail, organization, and accountability The
ability to work independently and meet deadlines with confidence
