Job Description Job Description Description: We're seeking an outgoing, analytical and innovative Job Cost Accountant to join the accounting department of our rapidly growing company in Houston! Duties/Responsibilities: Create and evaluate cost analysis reports to ensure costs are appropriately applied against jobs. Review invoices and estimates to ensure compliance with project budgets. Ensure accurate and timely coding of job costs and other expenses. Maintain vendor and subcontractor documentation, including initial contracts, obtaining COIs, and performing cycle checks to ensure compliance. Perform monthly credit card reconciliations and ensure accurate coding. Process invoices from vendors and subcontractors and submit to project managers for approval. Compensation and Benefits: Competitive base salary, based on experience, plus quarterly bonus structure. Ten (10) days of paid time off (PTO) per year. Seven (7) paid holidays per year. Requirements: Education and Experience: High school diploma required. One to two years of accounting experience preferred. Educational background may substitute for work experience.
