Job Description:
Overview: Responsible for the efficient operation and upkeep of
boiler systems and associated equipment. This role involves
performing both routine and advanced maintenance tasks, including
diagnostics, repairs, and scheduled servicing of production
machinery. The engineer also helps manage spare parts inventory and
ensures accurate documentation of maintenance activities.
Responsibilities: Operate and monitor steam boiler systems to
ensure optimal performance. Prepare equipment and documentation for
annual inspections and water quality testing. Conduct part
replacements and general upkeep of boiler systems. Diagnose and
resolve issues across mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical
systems, including CNC and manual mills and lathes, injection
molding machines, steam boilers, autoclaves, spray
booths/sandblasting units, and forklifts. Perform scheduled
preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and maintain production
flow. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities,
inspections, and repairs. Use power tools and pipe threading
equipment safely and effectively. Interpret technical drawings and
schematics (electrical and hydraulic). Ensure proper handling and
maintenance of tools and machinery. Collaborate with team members
to support production goals. Carry out additional duties as
assigned. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Valid 1st or 2nd Class Boiler Operator License. Experience: Minimum
of 5 years in a similar role, with hands-on experience in: Boiler
operations CNC and manual machine repair Sandblasting equipment
maintenance Lockout/tagout safety procedures Familiarity with
manufacturing processes and maintenance best practices. Must
provide own tools. Skills: Strong organizational and time
management abilities. Clear verbal and written communication. Solid
