Position Overview: The Maintenance Technician provides support and
is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents.
This includes quality move-ins, high residential satisfaction,
expedited service, and personal attention to residents. The
Maintenance Technician responds to our residents' service needs and
is instrumental in delivering customer service. *THIS ROLE REQUIRES
HVAC CERTIFICATION* Key Responsibilities: Prepares make-ready
apartments, which may include painting, carpet repairs, cleaning,
general repairs, housekeeping, and any other necessary tasks to
provide our residents with a quality move-in experience. Responds
to resident requests on time and with a professional attitude.
Knows maintenance functions such as plumbing, HVAC, basic electric,
general carpentry skills, and painting. Maintains grounds, pools/
hot tubs, common areas, and dog park amenities to keep them clean
and safe for our residents. On-call scheduling may be required to
respond to after-hours emergencies. Knowledgeable of state, local,
and federal fair housing laws. Performs all duties as assigned on
time. Delivers superior customer service and professionally
represents the company at all times. Maintains all safety
procedures and safeguards Perform any other related duties as
required or assigned Job Requirements EPA 608 - Minimum Type II,
and local city required certificate. Ability to read/ understand
documents such as policy manuals, safety rules, operating and
maintenance instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and
divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common
fractions, and decimals. Ability to write routine reports and
correspondence. Follow all safety procedures Qualifications &
Requirements: High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or
Vocational school 1-3 years of experience in property maintenance
or a related field (preferred). Ability to use hand tools, power
tools, and maintenance equipment safely. Valid driver’s license and
reliable transportation. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, or
additional hours as needed to meet deadlines. WORK ENVIRONMENT This
job operates in a professional office environment. This role
routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones,
photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. Regularly required
to travel outside between properties in varying weather conditions.
Physical Demands: Ability to perform physical tasks such as
lifting, carrying, bending, stooping, and working in confined
spaces. Ability to move furniture, appliances, and equipment as
needed. Ability to work in various weather conditions as required
by the job. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical
tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing ladders. Compensation
