Steel Estimator gpac is partnered with a full-service structural and miscellaneous steel contractor completing projects for a variety of industries utilizing structural steel construction. They are seeking an experienced Steel Estimator to add to their growing team. Qualifications for Steel Estimator: Successfully estimated and won projects in the $100k-$1M range Experience estimating with Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, or Planswift software Knowledge of current AISC and PCI codes and standards Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents Ability to calculate costs and prepare estimates Excellent organizational and communication skills Responsibilities of Steel Estimator: Prepare and review estimates for accuracy and completeness Coordinate and communicate with team members Develop and maintain relationships with clients Manage and monitor project budgets and schedules Monitor and review changes in project scope Ensure all materials, labor and equipment costs are accurately included in estimates Prepare accurate material take offs Assist in developing and implementing cost-effective strategies Compensation/Benefits: $60,000 - $90,000 base salary (DOE) Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) with company match Life Insurance PTO and Paid Holidays For additional information on this opportunity, please contact Nate Otto directly at 605-401-6171 Resumes may be confidentially sent to nate.otto@gogpac.com All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
