Job Description:
Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated IS Hydroblast Technician to
join our team as a key player in performing critical industrial
cleaning tasks using high-pressure water blasting technology. This
role is pivotal in ensuring the safe and effective cleaning of
various industrial equipment and sites, maintaining our commitment
to environmental protection and sustainability. At Clean Harbors,
you will be part of a leading team dedicated to safety, customer
service, and environmental stewardship. Operate high-pressure water
blast equipment to clean heavy industrial equipment and facilities.
Inspect and maintain equipment before, during, and after operations
to ensure functionality and safety. Adhere to all safety guidelines
and regulations, and participate in safety briefings and training.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and
effectively. Manage waste and contaminants according to company and
government regulations. Document procedures and outcomes of
cleaning tasks for compliance and improvement purposes. Proficient
in operating high-pressure water blasting and related equipment.
Strong understanding of industrial cleaning techniques and
environmental regulations. Ability to wear and manage protective
gear and heavy equipment for extended periods. Capable of physical
labor that may include lifting, standing, and bending in various
environmental conditions. Excellent communication, teamwork, and
problem-solving skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and
Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) certification preferred or required
based on regulatory demands. Valid driver’s license and ability to
obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) if necessary.
