Job Description Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Physical Therapy Assistant for a travel job in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Physical Therapy Assistant - Discipline: Therapy - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Travel Make a real difference as a travel PTA. You will work with patients recovering from injuries or illness, helping them move better, feel better, and stay active under the guidance of a licensed Physical Therapist. Apply today and a recruiter will follow up with the details. /n /n Minimum Qualifications /n - Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited educational program. - Active Louisiana state license or license eligible to start the assignment. - BLS Certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. - Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred. - Client requires experience with geriatric patient populations and restorative nursing programs preferred. - Ability to follow plans of care established by a supervising Physical Therapist. /n /n Assignment Details /n - Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility. - Shift Name: Days. /n /n Location Highlights /n Lake Charles offers coastal and cultural attractions within short drives of major natural areas.
