Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and
minimum 1 years Special Education Teacher experience required.

considered. An opportunity is available for a Special Education
Teacher to support elementary students with intellectual
disabilities in a Texas public school setting. This full-time,
contract position focuses on delivering specialized instruction
tailored to the unique needs of young learners in an elementary
life skills program. Location: Spring, TX Duration: February 10,
2026 May 26, 2026 (contract school year) Hours: Full-time, 37.5
hours per week School setting: Elementary school Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for
elementary students with intellectual disabilities Provide direct
instruction and support to enhance students life skills,
communication, and academic growth Collaborate with
multidisciplinary teams, families, and staff to ensure cohesive
educational planning Monitor and document student progress,
adjusting strategies as needed to meet goals Maintain compliance
with district policies and Texas Education Agency (TEA) standards
Qualifications: Valid SPED EC-12 Texas teaching certification is
required Experience working with elementary students with
intellectual disabilities preferred Ability to develop and
implement effective instructional strategies and behavior plans
Must complete district-required fingerprinting and drug screening
