paraprofessional opportunity is available to support students in a
K-12 school setting located in Liberty, MO. This position focuses
on providing one-on-one assistance in elementary schools,
emphasizing behavior management and support for toileting needs.
The role is based on a contract running from the start date as soon
as possible through May 28th. Key Responsibilities: Provide
one-on-one support to students at Oakwood Manor Elementary and
Gracemor Elementary. Assist with behavior management strategies,
ensuring a supportive and positive learning environment. Support
students with toileting and other personal care needs sensitively
and respectfully. Collaborate with special education staff and
participate in ongoing training. Maintain professionalism and
confidentiality in all interactions. Desired Qualifications: Active
paraprofessional certification or related substitute certification
from DESE. Experience working with students who have behavioral
challenges. Comfortable supporting toileting and other personal
care tasks. Ability to pass a drug screening and complete required
background checks promptly. Availability to attend a brief
prescreen phone call followed by a Zoom interview with the special
education director. Reliable transportation for commuting to and
