Job Description:
Overview: The Engineering Support Specialist will contribute to
both short- and long-term planning efforts, ensuring effective
program execution and adherence to company policies. This role
involves close collaboration with asset, plant, and operational
support teams to gather, analyze, and reconcile data necessary for
executing strategic plans. Key Responsibilities: Provide data
analysis and support to the Portfolio Management team. Develop
tools and reports to visualize and interpret data; assist with data
collection, presentations, and reporting. Identify and implement
process improvements to streamline data workflows and enhance team
efficiency. Prepare outputs and reports for economic analysis.
Retrieve and analyze data from corporate databases and reporting
systems. Share knowledge and support skill development within the
team. Contribute to special projects as needed. Required
Qualifications: Strong foundation in data analytics, research, and
analysis. Proficiency in SharePoint and/or Power BI for data
management and mining. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially
Excel (including Power Query), Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity
with oil and gas economic software. Basic understanding of finance
and accounting principles. Self-motivated with strong interpersonal
and relationship-building skills. Detail-oriented with excellent
organizational and problem-solving abilities. Minimum of 5 years of
industry experience. Associate degree or higher in a relevant field
(e.g., Information Systems, Finance, Mathematics, Data Analytics).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with oil and gas economic
tools such as PEEP or Mosaic. Proficiency in SQL for data querying
and management. Familiarity with SAP accounting data. Experience
developing dashboards using TIBCO Spotfire or Power BI. Knowledge
of economics software and reserves management systems. With over 90
