Beaumont, Texas refinery and petrochemical complex for Process

Process Analyzer Engineer position, which is typically staffed by
an advanced-degree Analytical Chemist, is responsible for the
optimization, troubleshooting, and design of a wide variety of
online process analyzers. Primary responsibilities include: Work
closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and project
development staffs to identify and implement process analyzer
reliability improvements Design and specify on-line analyzers and
analyzer systems Coordinate new or replacement analyzer projects
among engineering, maintenance, and operations, and provide
commissioning and start-up support Serve as an analyzer technology
expert liaison between project engineers, plant maintenance, and
operations personnel Support development of new analyzer
applications Background Requirements:MS or PhD degree in Analytical
Chemistry required, with a BS degree in Chemistry or Chemical
Engineering Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a chemical
manufacturing environment Experience with analytical measurements
(GC, LC-MS, Mass Spec), and a good foundation of basic analytics
Ability to work with a wide range of personnel at different levels
of engineering, design, maintenance, and management, as well as
with vendor suppliers of Process Analyzer and Process Control
technology materials and construction services Thorough
understanding of the principles of analytical chemistry and
associated equipment, as well as applicable principles of physics
