Job Description:
At Schneider Wallace Cottrell Konecky LLP (SWSLP), while we are
renowned for our litigation expertise, we also maintain a fleet of
boats for investigational and transport purposes connected to our
maritime cases. We seek a skilled Boat Mechanic to ensure the
operational efficiency and safety of our maritime assets. The ideal
candidate will bring a strong technical skillset in boat mechanics,
coupled with a dedication to maintaining the highest standards of
craft and equipment integrity. Perform regular maintenance and
emergency repairs on various types of boats. Conduct engine
repairs, electrical system modifications, and hull maintenance.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic problems and perform
diagnostics to prevent failures. Document all maintenance and
repair actions while ensuring compliance with industry standards
and environmental regulations. Keep inventory of parts and
equipment, placing orders for supplies when necessary. Ensure all
work activities are in line with health and safety standards.
In-depth knowledge of diesel and gasoline engine maintenance
Proficiency in the repair of hydraulic and electronic systems
Ability to use diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting Strong
problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective
communication skills for interacting with team members and
management Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Certification from the American Boat & Yacht Council
(ABYC) is highly desirable Certified Marine Service Technician
credential preferred
