DescriptionThe staff Registered Nurse (RN) is a vital part of an interdisciplinary team assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care in efforts to deliver the highest levels of care to the patient and family. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of CHRISTUS Health St. Elizabeth Hospital, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the Core Values. The ICU units consist of a 16-bed Cardiovascular ICU, 16-bed Medical/Trauma and a 6-bed Neuro ICU.Requirements

• 
  
• Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
  
• Current licenses or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
  
• Current BLS
  
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, and medical staff both verbally and written
  
• One year prior nursing experience preferred
