Summary:

This RN Clinical Educator position will provide support and facilitation for Nursing Onboarding, ensuring new associates receive a best practice orientation that meets regulatory needs. In addition, this position will provide coordination for all student activity in the SETX ministry, including medical, nursing, other clinical and non-clinical students. This candidate will work with the Education Team and Talent Acquisition to move the ministry from a clinical site for student rotations to a Center of Academic Excellence, showcasing the learning and mentoring resources we have in-house. Job responsibilities include partnership with local and distant schools, student access and orientation, mentorship and reporting on community benefit student hours. Candidate is expected to become AHA BLS Instructor within 6 months of hire date into the Education Department.




Requirements:

A. Education/Skills

Graduate of State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent. BSN required or in progress, Master's preferred. Certification in area of specialty preferred.

B. Experience

---Five years experience in specialty preferred. Experience with critical care education, including ICU and Telemetry preferred.

C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

---Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the state of Texas.
