Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Professional Nurse to join our team in the Post Surgical Pacu department. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Key Responsibilities

• Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel.
• Provide direct and indirect care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account patient needs and preferences.Requirements
  • Graduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within two weeks of employment.
  • Medication Competence within two weeks of employment.
  • Computer Competence within four weeks of employment.
  • Arrhythmia Recognition Course within twelve weeks of employment if no current ACLS Certification.
  • AHA ACLS Certification within sixteen weeks of employment.
  • Critical Care classes and examinations within sixteen weeks of employment.
  • Phlebotomy/Point of Care Competency within four weeks of employment.
  • TNCC Course within six months of employment.
  • ENPC/PALS Certification within six months of employment.Work EnvironmentThis is a part-time position, and the work environment is fast-paced and dynamic.
