Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Acute Trauma Medical Surgical unit. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel.
  • Provide direct and indirect care to patients, including medication administration, wound care, and mobility assistance.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.Requirements
    • Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
    • At least 1 year of acute hospital experience required.
    • Current RN license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
    • American Heart Association BLS certification within two (2) weeks of employment.
    • ACLS certification preferred within eight (8) weeks of employment.Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time position with flexible scheduling, including 7pm-7am shifts. Shift differentials apply for evening and night shifts. Weekend shift differentials also apply. 180 hours of PTO are front-loaded upon hire, and time and a half is paid for major holidays.
