Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team. As a Registered Nurse in Cardiology, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect care to patients in the Cardiology department
• Prescribe, delegate, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate patient teaching and the activities of ancillary nursing personnel
• Maintain professional nursing standards and adhere to hospital policies and procedures
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient careRequirements
  • Graduate of a State Board accredited School of Nursing or equivalent
  • Valid Registered RN license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas
  • American Heart Association BLS certification within two weeks of employment
  • Medication Competence within two weeks of employment
  • Computer Competence within four weeks of employment
  • A Medication Examination within twelve weeks of employment
  • Basic Dysrhythmia certification (if applicable) within twelve weeks of employmentWork EnvironmentThis is a full-time position in a fast-paced Cardiology department.
