Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Christus Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered services.Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to critically ill neonates, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members, fostering a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferably in a Perinatal setting.
  • Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a Perinatal setting is preferred.
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • Current RN License in the state of employment or compact.
  • BLS required.
  • Current STABLE and NRP certifications, as applicable.Work ScheduleFull-time, night shift, 7p-7a.
