Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Care department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our registered nurses to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care and treatments as ordered by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
• Assist registered nurses in the delivery of patient care, providing support and guidance as needed.
• Administer medications as outlined by hospital policy and procedure, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and industry developments.Requirements
  • Graduate of a State Board accredited Vocational School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
  • AHA BLS certification within two weeks of employment.
  • AHA ACLS certification within eight weeks of employment.
  • At least six months of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in emergency care.Work EnvironmentThis is a full-time position in a fast-paced emergency care environment.
