DescriptionSummary:At CHRISTUS Health, we are honored to have our MICU and CVICU combined, totaling 32 beds. Our CVICU specializes in CABG, Valve, Impella, IABP, targeted temperature management, CRRT, and typical Medical ICU patients. MICU is our robust Trauma team, being the only trauma center within a 200-mile radius, specializing in Neuro, Trauma, CRRT, and typical medical ICU patients. Our patient population ranges from young adults to geriatrics. We take pride in our holistic approach to caring for our patients and staff, living out our CORE Values.A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. In addition, the Registered Professional Nurse prescribes, delegates, coordinates, supervises and evaluates patient teaching and the activities of the ancillary nursing personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing. The Registered Nurse is able to provide direct and indirect care to patients.Requirements:A. Education/SkillsGraduate of a State Board School of Nursing or equivalent.B. ExperienceTwelve (12) months experience preferred.C.
