Job Title: Rad Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:00 - 15:30 Experience: 1 year of experience preferred License: Current state license required Certifications: ARRT(R), LSTBE Must-Have: Experience in a cath lab or scrub experience in Radiology Intervention or Surgery preferred Description: Rad Tech needed in a cath lab setting. Shift consists of 5x8s, running from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Call is required every other weekend at the most and 2 days during the week. Potentially 3 days of call may be necessary if not scheduled over the weekend. Local candidates are accepted. First-time travelers are also accepted. A flu vaccine is required, with medical or religious exemptions only. Requests for Time Off (RTO) should be kept to a minimum, preferably no requests during the first two weeks of the assignment. Any RTO must be approved and documented prior to the start of the assignment. Expect to work some holidays. Candidates may be required to float in rotation with other staff and will receive appropriate orientation to new units as necessary. Modules are non-billable, totaling 4 hours. Modules must be recorded through the designated training platform.
