start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience
is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks.
Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial
assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Nuclear
Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job
Details: • Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through
Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM • May work until 5:00 PM or later
based on high census and case load • No call during the week,
weekend call may be required as needed • Float requirements: Yes,
to OPP (based on staff and census) • Perform wide variety of
routine and advanced imaging procedures • Provide support for other
imaging technologists as needed • Demonstrate flexibility by
working other shifts and/or at other campuses as needed •
Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance
• Resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving
system • Maintain radiation safety protocol while handling
radionuclides and pharmaceuticals • Complete daily logs and
periodic tests as required by license • Ensure completed exams are
scanned and stored correctly in PACS • Follow PACS downtime
procedures as a PACS Superuser • Graduate of accredited school of
Radiology Technology or approved equivalent required • 1 year of
experience in clinical nuclear medicine setting preferred • Nuclear
Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB required • Texas state
licensure required - MRT by TMBBLS • BLS certification required
(AHA only) • Basic computer experience required Facility: This
