Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 11/09/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Allied Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology Job Details: • Work 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM • May work extended hours until 5:00 PM or later based on high census and case load • No call during the week, only weekend call if needed • Float requirements: Yes, to OPP based on staff and census • Perform wide variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures • Provide support for other imaging technologists as needed • Demonstrate flexibility by working other shifts and/or at other campuses as required • Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance • Resolve issues related to image processing and image archiving system • Maintain radiation safety protocol while handling radionuclides and pharmaceuticals • Complete daily logs and periodic tests as required by license • Ensure completed exams are scanned and stored correctly in PACS • Follow PACS downtime procedures as a PACS Superuser • Required: Graduate of accredited school of Radiology Technology or approved equivalent • Required: Nuclear Medicine Technology (N) by ARRT or NMTCB • Required: Texas state licensure (MRT by TMBB) • Required: BLS certification (AHA only) • Preferred: 1 year experience in clinical nuclear medicine setting • Required: Basic computer experience Facility: This healthcare facility is part of a comprehensive medical system that provides advanced nuclear medicine and radiology services.
