Job Description:

Touchstone Communities is seeking a Director of Nursing Services to lead our dedicated nursing team in providing high-quality, tailored care for our senior residents across our Texas-based facilities. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence, enhancing patient outcomes, and fostering a supportive environment for both staff and residents. The successful candidate will oversee all nursing staff activities, develop policies that improve health care delivery, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and manage budgets effectively. Oversee the recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of nursing staff Develop and implement nursing department policies and procedures Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations concerning residential healthcare Manage the nursing department budget and resources effectively Coordinate with other department heads to ensure holistic care Monitor and continually improve patient care quality Provide leadership in clinical problem-solving Facilitate communication and enforce health and safety protocols Strong leadership and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in healthcare management systems and compliance requirements Ability to manage budgets and resources Keen understanding of geriatric care essentials Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current registered nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas Certified Nursing Administrator (CNA) is preferred
