Job Description:

home healthcare services, invites a dedicated Speech Pathologist to
join our interdisciplinary team. As a Speech Pathologist at
Encompass Health, you will deliver exceptional care tailored to the
individual needs of patients recovering from stroke, injuries,
surgeries, and other conditions that affect speech and
communication abilities. Your role will focus on assessment,
diagnosis, and the development of comprehensive treatment plans to
restore, improve, or modify speech disorders and communication

in the healthcare sector. Evaluate patients' communication, oral
and pharyngeal competence and their ability to swallow Develop and
implement tailored treatment plans based on individual patient
needs and medical history Provide therapeutic interventions to
improve speech production and fluency, language abilities,
cognitive-communication, and voice quality Educate patients and
families about communication strategies and coping mechanisms
Maintain patient documentation and progress reports as per
regulatory standards Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
including physicians, nurses, and other rehabilitation specialists
Advocate for patient communication needs as part of overall patient
care Expertise in diagnosing and treating a variety of speech and
language disorders Proficiency in utilizing modern speech pathology
equipment and therapy techniques Strong interpersonal skills to
interact effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare
providers Capability to handle sensitive information confidentially
and interact compassionately with patients Medical Insurance Dental

licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language
Pathologist
