Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a skilled Speech
Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary rehabilitation team. In
this role, you will be instrumental in providing both
facility-based and home-based speech therapy services, facilitating
the communication abilities and swallowing functionality of
patients with various conditions. As a Speech Pathologist at
Encompass Health, you will have the opportunity to work closely
with a team of professionals in inpatient rehabilitation hospitals,
home health, and hospice agencies, ensuring that each patient you
encounter receives the highest standard of compassionate care.
Assess and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and
fluency disorders. Develop and implement personalized treatment
plans based on patient-specific needs. Monitor patient progress and
adjust treatments accordingly. Educate family members or caregivers
on patient communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Maintain
accurate records and report on patients' status and progress.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure
comprehensive care coordination. Strong understanding of speech
disorders and treatments Ability to construct and follow systematic
treatment plans Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in using medical software and speech therapy
technologies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate
of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from
the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
