Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in various units while adhering to professional nursing standards Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects and reactions Educate patients and their families on disease prevention and health promotion practices Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records Ensure operation of medical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
