Job Description Well-established hospital located north of Lake Charles, LA is looking for a full-time permanent Ultrasound Technologist to join their team. Details are below. Pay: $29.61 - $44.42/hour Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity: On call pay for Ultrasound is $5.00 per hour or 25% of base hourly rate, whichever is greater. This amount will be capped at a maximum of $8.00 per hour. Prepare patients, explain procedures, address concerns, ensure comfort, and obtain medical history Ultrasound Technologist will operate ultrasound equipment, position patients correctly, acquire high-quality diagnostic images, and identify normal vs. abnormal findings. Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensure exam room readiness, and follow safety protocols. Schedule: Monday – Friday (1pm – 9pm) Ultrasound Technologist Qualifications: Ultrasound Technologist must have ARDMS Open to new grads Communication, compassion, empathy, attention to detail, problem-solving, teamwork, staying calm under pressure.
