This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to work on a wide array of energy-related transactions. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with our clients, providing legal advice and guidance on complex energy transactions. This role is perfect for a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a strong background in energy law and a passion for the industry. Responsibilities: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of energy-related agreements, including purchase agreements, sale agreements, joint operating agreements, and farmout agreements. Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on all aspects of energy transactions, including regulatory compliance, risk management, and dispute resolution. Collaborating closely with other members of the legal team to ensure that all transactions are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Conducting legal research and analysis to support decision-making and strategy development. Staying current with developments in energy law and advising clients on potential impacts and opportunities. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admitted to practice law in at least one state. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a transactional attorney, with a strong focus in oil and gas law. Proven experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating energy-related agreements, including purchase agreements, sale agreements, joint operating agreements, and farmout agreements. Exceptional legal research and writing skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build strong relationships with clients. A deep understanding of the energy industry, including trends, challenges, and regulatory environment. The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
