Warehouse / Shipping and Receiving Full Time Temp-Hire Pay: $17.50/hr-18.00/hr Monday - Thursday 8-5 | Friday 8-4 Job Overview: We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Operations and Fulfillment Associate to join our dynamic warehouse team. This role is essential to the daily operations of our warehouse, with responsibilities spanning order fulfillment, inventory management, shipping, and ensuring the smooth functioning of warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes, be detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Job Requirements: Fork Lift and overhead crane operation Complete fulfillment orders including picking merchandise, packing & shipping orders, and making orders ready for customers. Learn and apply packing techniques to ensure every order is properly packaged and labeled. Receive/Unpack shipments from vendors verify accuracy of items and quantities received. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Report low stock levels for packing and shipping materials. Participate in other warehouse support functions as needed. Assist inside sales with inventory availability information. Learn and apply tools & technology used to prepare items for shipping. Including forklift operation, aptitude for assembly and testing of items would be beneficial. Ensure all procedures, policies, and safety standards are followed. Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality. Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. The warehouse is subject to all weather conditions so the ability to tolerate heat and cold will be necessary. The ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time, and be comfortable squatting, kneeling, and crouching. Ability to work and communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to accomplish tasks. Attention to detail. Computer experience required, experience with Microsoft Windows / Microsoft Office and Sage50 or other similar software a must. Qualifications: Dependable attendance and punctuality. Prior experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes is beneficial. Ability to learn and apply tools, technology, and equipment used for shipping preparation. Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
