Operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed efficiently and safely adhering to all safety, state, and federal regulations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and safe. Coordinate delivery schedules and routes with the logistics team to meet client delivery timelines, Load, secure, deliver, and unload cargo or freight efficiently and with attention to preserving the integrity of the goods. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients and warehouse personnel to ensure smooth operations and immediate handling of client or logistical issues. Maintain accurate logs of driving times, deliveries, and vehicle service activities compliant with state and federal regulations. Proficient in operating CDL Class A vehicles. Strong navigation and route management abilities. Excellent time management and communication skills. Ability to maintain composure and make sound decisions in stressful situations. Basic mechanical skills to address vehicle minor repairs. Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs).
