We are currently seeking a dedicated CDL A Truck Driver to enhance our transportation operations. As part of our team, you will be instrumental in maintaining the high standard of service expected by our clients, ensuring timely and safe delivery of freight across various routes. Operate a Class A truck following all safety and operational guidelines. Ensure timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes. Review orders prior to delivery to ensure that loads are correct. Maintain communication with dispatch to receive instructions, report delays or safety hazards, and provide status updates. Perform vehicle inspections before and after each trip and report any problems or maintenance needs. Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules. Document and log work/rest periods, miles spent driving, and retain fuel/toll receipts. Strong driving record with no traffic violations. Proficient in using GPS and other route navigation systems. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Physical ability to load and unload cargo when necessary. Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc.).
