As a CDL A Truck Driver, you will be instrumental in ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods, leveraging our state-of-the-art resources to meet and exceed the expectations of our prestigious clientele. Operate a tractor-trailer or flatbed truck in accordance with company and federal regulations. Transport goods and manage documentation related to cargo transport, ensuring accurate delivery and condition of items. Maintain communication with the logistics team to coordinate optimal travel routes. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues, perform preventative maintenance as required. Monitor traffic and weather conditions to make real-time decisions that optimize travel and delivery schedules. Ensure compliance with all safety rules and regulations, as well as policies concerning sanitation, cargo security, and cargo handling. Proficient in operating different types of tractors and trailers safely and efficiently. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety standards. Excellent navigation and time management abilities. Good problem-solving skills and basic mechanical aptitude. No serious traffic violations or accidents in the past five years.
