Job Description Description Summary: Responsible for communication with patients, Radiologists and referring physicians. Performs sonography procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist. Assists in preparing results of Ultrasound procedures. Requirements: * Completion of two or four year AMA or equivalent Allied Health degree required * Sonography registration or registry eligible with American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 24 months of hire. * Twelve months actual full-time internship or clinical ultrasound experience preferred. * Active American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)- and Texas Medical Board (CMRT) with at least 10 years documented clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience or * Active American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or Active American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT (S)). Will consider registry eligible with registry or certification achievement within twenty four months of hire date * Current AHA CPR certification required Work Type: Per Diem As Needed
