**SALARY RANGE**
Seattle 113,000 - 163,000 USD per year
**YOUR JOB**
We are looking for a user experience designer for the Matching
organization at Indeed.

The Matching team at Indeed uses powerful screening tools and
matching systems to make connections between employers and job
seekers that may not have happened otherwise. We aim to make these
matches and facilitate connections in a human and trustworthy way.
As a UX Designer, you will partner with cross-functional product
team members to look across our users' journeys to create a
holistic matching experience, giving job seekers career
opportunities they can trust and giving employers a trusted hiring
partner in Indeed. -
This role may be fully remote or in one of our Indeed Engineering
offices, whichever works best for you.

- Drive the team to think bigger about the problem space with a
relentless focus on the end user - ensuring that what we build is
solving problems for the users we serve.
- Partnering with product management and engineering - craft a
compelling vision that helps users & the business meet goals and
broaden opportunities.
- Define short, medium and long term goals with measurable
outcomes.
- Be an advocate and liaison for UX for matching and
recommendations experiences across Indeed.
- Help bridge the gap in conversations that span design,
technology, data science, and product as you collaborate closely
with Indeedians from engineering, product management, design,
design technology, UX research, content strategy, and product
science, among others.
- Partner with your UX, Product and Engineering partners within
your team to help inform future roadmaps and turn vision into
reality.
- Partner with other UX designers & leaders in Matching - and the
broader Indeed design community to contribute to the design
systems; strive to create world-class product experiences and
communicate the value of UX to stakeholders internally. -
- Keep the voice of the customer at the forefront by participating
in a regular cadence of qualitative and quantitative studies.
**WHO YOU ARE**
- 2+ years of UX design experience shipping product in an agile
environment. -
- You have an accompanying portfolio that demonstrates how you have
solved user and business problems through launching a large or
complex feature with measurable outcomes.
- Worked with product management, engineering, and research to
define problems, ideate solutions, and define an MVP of a feature
or product.
- Your designs are modern, intuitive, and accessible. -
- You obsess over simplifying interactions and delighting
users.
- Clearly articulates user centered design, advocating for the user
with a balance of business needs by ensuring that your work is
founded on user research and can be measured.
- Autonomously balances speed with quality to deliver simple,
impactful solutions for the product.
- Deep knowledge in user-centric design methods and tools (e.g.
journey mapping, user flows, competitive audit, etc).
- Degree in Human Computer Interaction, Information Design, Graphic
Design, or a related design or behavioral science discipline, or
equivalent experience.
- Self-starter who seeks out collaboration and alignment with
cross-functional and cross-organizational partners.
- You're someone who thinks big, inspires others, and helps teams
connect the dots to create cohesive experiences.
- Experience with mobile and responsive design. -
- Commitment to mentorship.

**SALARY RANGE DISCLAIMER**
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Indeed
salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary depending
on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and
performance. The range listed is just one component of Indeed's
total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include
quarterly bonuses, Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), an open Paid Time
Off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
