Job Description:
Job SummaryHelps to direct the sales and business functions
related to the Houston & Branches Sales Department to effectively
meet stated company goals and objectives. - Develops customer
service objectives to meet customer expectations for products,
services, and long-term partnerships. Helps to manage daily pricing
strategy and ensures that sales personnel are administering
contracts, project bids and MRO agreements. - Participates in
resolving customer problems and follows-up to ensure customer
satisfaction. - In coordination with Branch Manager, has
discretionary pricing authority for competitive situations.
Communicates changes in demand, and new order potential between
manufacturing facilities and Inside Sales group. - Interfaces with
outside sales, plant, and branch staffs to discuss orders,
inventory, pricing, availability, and delivery of products. -
Facilitates ongoing training and mentorship of inside sales group
to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency. - Job Duties and
Responsibilities
In conjunction with Inside Sales,
facilitates tactical pricing consistent with account volumes and
operating income goals.Manages and maintains price structures and
discounts in Syteline as well as customer assignments.Develops
strategy and executes daily pricing strategy.Inside sales
representatives are aware of new market, product, service,
warranty, competition, regulations, and other general information
related to current sales trends.Reviews new sales leads & bids from
inside sales representatives. Reports results to Lead Inside Sales
ManagerCommunicates customer issues and sales to field
representatives.Consults with engineering staff on regulation
requirements or design changes.Prices all project and MRO agreement
bidsFields any inquiries as needed from customers with a special
focus on EPC firms.Provides after hours and weekend "on call
service" to customer base. - Follows weekly On-Call rotation with
local inside sales department as scheduled. Performs other related

Knowledge of Sales Information System
(Syteline), Customer Order ProcessAbility to navigate with all
Microsoft Office Applications specifically Word, Excel and
OutlookThorough understanding of business ethicsAbility to learn
all Lamons' products as well as competing products.Knowledge of
competitive landscapeAbility to learn production processes and flow
of product.Conflict resolution and problem-solving
skillsMotivational and leadership skillsGood verbal and written
communication skillsEducation
Bachelor's degree in Marketing,
Sales, Business, or related fieldOr at least 5 years' experience as
an inside sales representative in the chemical or Petro-Chemical
industryWork Experience
At least 5 years' experience as an
Inside Sales Representative in the Petro-Chemical industryPhysical
Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a
desk and working on a computer.Must be able to lift 15 pounds at
