INFORMATION EMPLOYER: Halliburton Energy Services, Inc. Job Title:
Procurement Supervisor Job Location: 3000 N. Sam Houston Parkway
East, Houston, TX 77032 Job Duties Leads a group of Procurement
professionals and plans sourcing to support manufacturing's field
operation's or project management's strategic plans. Complies with
and executes Category Management strategy in accordance with
policies and procedures. Directs the creation of request for
quotations (RFQ) and competitive biddings from various suppliers to
obtain best quality, delivery and price for goods and services.
Responsible for approving the selection and qualification of
suppliers, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing agreements
for local procurement of goods and services not covered under
Category Management. Develops strategies to improve supplier
performance for spending not under regional or global Category
Management. Qualifications Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree
in Engineering, Supply Chain or related field and 3 years of
experience in the job offered or in a Procurement
Supervisor-related occupation. In Lieu of the above, employer will
accept 5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Procurement
Supervisor-related occupation. Position requires experience in the
following: Experience with strategic sourcing & project execution
to optimize procurement for cost savings. Experience in leading
negotiations with suppliers for commercial terms, delivery &
consignment Experience in Continuous improvement/Lean Manufacturing
for process improvement to remove non-value add activity & increase
efficiency. Experience in strategic vendor management for
performance evaluation & improvement in safety, quality, cost &
delivery metrics. Experience in vendor contract management. Active
participation in contract term negotiation & execution. Contact
